Act Like You Matter, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received determination from the IRS that it is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) and is classified as a public charity. This new status allows Act Like You Matter to accept tax-deductible donations and grants that will be used to continue their important work of empowering students to build their resilience and play an active role in ending bullying. Donations and grants are fully tax deductible as provided by law retroactive to the determination date of May 24, 2018.

Through age-appropriate, student-led assemblies and workshops, articles, and social media presence, Act Like You Matter empowers children and teens to believe in themselves, stand up for themselves and others, and change the way their generation treats each other. They teach tools and strategies that students can use immediately to build resilience and overcome and combat bullying, so schools and communities are places of acceptance and tolerance, where empathy and kindness are second nature and each child can rise to their full potential.
